Learning to select healthy, nutritious foods can be hard enough, but learning how to cook for multiple meals can seem like a daunting, nearly impossible task. Let’s face it; cooking isn’t convenient at all for most of us. But with some simple strategies and useful tips, you can spend a few hours in ONE AFTERNOON cooking healthy, delicious meals for the entire week!

At this workshop, join me at Deep Roots Market, a co-operative market with meeting space located in downtown Greensboro, where we will discuss the basics of cooking for health and fuel, learn how to select the right foods for your goals, and how to cook easy meals that you can eat anytime. This includes a quick tour of the store where I’ll point out some healthy food alternatives to traditionally unhealthy foods. Take away an action plan for immediate implementation into your busy lifestyle. We will be eating lunch at the Deep Roots Market’s delicious and healthy buffet at the end of the workshop, so bring some cash and your appetite!
